Meeting People in Grocery Stores
Apparently I've been going to the wrong grocery store: this Safeway is supposed to be the cool people hangout.

I remember hearing once that grocery stores are hot meeting spots--for old people.
Laundromats are apparently quite good, but I guess that's not as applicable in a place like Arizona.

Yeah, I have laundry units in the apartment, but I've seriously thought about taking my laundry to a laundromat and doing it there for the comradery. I can't really justify wasting the gas on it, though. I guess I could batch it into a grocery trip.
